When you start Duper, you can have it generate hands randomly or read them from a file, or you may enter them yourself:

If you choose to enter hands yourself, you will be presented with this hand entry screen. In this shot, the user has entered three hands and can now enter the West hand automatically by clicking on its "Fill in" button:
